~ ‘Kintsukori’ ~ Selkie Locket.
Only One Available.

‘Kintsukori’ is the Japanese art of repairing something that is broken and the understanding that something can be even more beautiful having once been broken.

This locket took a bit of damage during the very early stages of its creation. However, instead of giving up and melting it down to start again I decided to carry on.
I saw its flaws as a symbol of hope and that everything that has been damaged, can once again be healed and whole again.

The little dent on the reverse (shown in the photos) doesn’t effect the lockets ability to open or close and it can still hold a small photo perfectly well.
The damage has been accounted for in the price of the locket.

Sterling silver locket, decorated with a very colourful Rainbow Moonstone teardrop, seaweed and a mermaid shell.

Suspended on a 22” sterling silver chain.
