‘We are all broken, that’s how the light gets in’ ~ Ernest Hemingway.
🕯~ ‘Kintsukori’ ~ 🕯’I saw your flaws and Loved You More’ ~ Moonstone Pendants.
Kintsukori’ is the Japanese art of repairing something that is broken and the understanding that something can be even more beautiful having once been broken.
These little Rainbow Moonstone dreams took a bit of damage during their journey to me.
Instead of giving up and letting them go, I decided to carry on and make them into something lovely ~ they were just too pretty.
I saw their little cracks as a perfect reminder of that anything that has been damaged, is still beautiful and can be healed and whole again.
The settings are 9ct Solid Yellow Gold surrounds with Sterling Silver reverse (see last image).
The sea life, bails and hoop attachments are all Solid 9ct Yellow Gold.
The 2nd, 3rd and 4th images show where the little cracks are in the beautiful luminous Rainbow Moonstone.
These cracks have been given a diamond repair and should remain fully intact.
They are available with or without an 18” 9ct Yellow Gold or Sterling Silver chain.
